This project connected El Confidencial’s subscriptions with Google to simplify the process and attract more users. The goal was to grow Google‑linked subscriptions and make management easier for readers.
The aim was to encourage more subscribers to link their accounts through Google. This integration allows users to manage their newspaper subscription alongside their other app and service subscriptions directly in their Google account.

The project had two main parts: a landing page explaining the benefits of subscribing through Google; and on‑site touchpoints such as modals, banners, and emails informing users about this option and guiding them to the landing page.
The landing page clearly described how the link worked and why it was beneficial — faster checkout, centralized management, and exclusive introductory offers. Visually, it followed El Confidencial’s subscription design system, keeping consistency across the experience.

The feature made the subscription process smoother and more transparent, leading to a steady growth in the number of Google‑linked subscriptions.
